Andrew Margolies is the founder of Margolies Law Office, a Dallas tax firm, and a Texas attorney whose background spans tax law, IRS matters, and corporate legal work. With more than a decade of experience, he brings a practical, business-focused perspective to helping clients resolve complex tax and legal matters.
Andrew earned his Bachelor of Arts in 2005, graduating magna cum laude, and his Juris Doctor in 2010, graduating cum laude. He is admitted to practice law in Texas and is a member of the State Bar of Texas. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas.
From 2012 to 2015, Andrew served as an attorney with Ericsson, Inc., where he worked through complex legal issues in a corporate environment and developed a practical understanding of how legal matters affect both individuals and businesses. He now brings that experience to his tax-focused practice.
Andrew’s practice focuses exclusively on matters before the Internal Revenue Service. While the firm’s case management team handles client relationships, Andrew personally manages all of the firm’s IRS legal work, working directly with clients on issues that require legal representation before the IRS.
Andrew’s work has been recognized by Three Best Rated, where he continues to be listed. Outside of his practice, he volunteers annually with Feed My Starving Children. When he is away from the office, he enjoys fishing, snowboarding and hiking and is an avid reader and board game enthusiast.
